This policy applies to growthleak.biz and related GrowthLeak services. It covers information collected when you run a scan, unlock or view an audit, contact us, or complete a purchase.
What we collect
- Email addresses you enter in the free audit form or the report gate modal.
- Website URLs you ask us to scan.
- Audit results generated from those scans, including scores, findings, summaries, and scan timestamps.
- Browser data such as local storage entries used to remember recent scan URLs, recent audit results, and submitted email addresses, plus a cookie used to remember paid access after checkout.
- Basic analytics data about visits, page views, and product usage.
- Payment and checkout details related to your purchase, such as billing status and the email used at checkout. Stripe handles card payment information directly.
How we use information
- To run website scans and show you audit results.
- To save and reuse one free audit for the same email address and domain for up to 30 days.
- To remember recent activity in your browser and keep paid access working after checkout.
- To send product emails related to your audit, Deep Scan or Autopilot access, rescan reminders, and service updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing-style emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages.
- To measure usage, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service.
- To process payments, respond to support requests, and enforce our terms.
How we share data
We share data only when needed to run the service. We do not sell personal information.
- Stripe processes checkout and payments.
- Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers help us operate GrowthLeak and store audit data securely.
- Our analytics provider helps us understand traffic and how people use the product.
- We may disclose information if required by law or if needed to protect our rights, users, or service.
Data retention
- Free audit records tied to an email address and domain may be stored for up to 30 days so we can reuse the same audit during that period.
- Browser-stored data remains until you clear it, it expires, or it is replaced by newer scan data.
- Stripe keeps payment records under its own legal and operational retention requirements.
- We may keep limited records longer when needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.
Where data is handled
GrowthLeak operates from Paris, France. Our primary data handling is centered in France and the European Union, although some service providers may process limited data in other jurisdictions when needed to operate hosting, analytics, or payments.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal limits.
You can also clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings. If you do, some saved scan state or paid-access state may no longer be available on that device.
Marketing and product emails from GrowthLeak include an unsubscribe link. Using that link is the fastest way to stop optional email updates.
If you live in a place that gives you additional privacy rights, such as the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you can contact us to exercise those rights.
Cookies and analytics
We use browser storage and similar technologies to keep the product working, remember recent scan activity, and recognize when checkout has unlocked paid access on your device. We also use analytics tools to measure visits and improve performance. You can manage cookies and stored data through your browser settings.
